FYI - Students are not just assessed on their typing speed. We look for proper keyboarding technique like fingers curved over home row, smooth typing, keying by touch with eyes on the copy, good posture, body centered to keyboard, wrists not resting on the keyboard, and elbows hanging comfortably at one's side.
